GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Officials are searching for a man that allegedly shot and killed another man Saturday afternoon.

According to the Greenwood County Coroner’s Office, a man was shot once in the head at a residence on Oakhill Avenue at around 1:37 p.m.

After being taken to the hospital, the man died from his injuries.

The coroner’s office identified the man that died as 36-year-old Tarrence Eugene Robinson.

The Greenwood Police Department asked people to stay away from Oakhill Avenue.

Police said that Robinson and the suspect knew one another, and that the suspect pulled a gun and subsequently shot the victim.

Officials have secured arrest warrants for Tony Matthew Landron, for charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Landron is considered armed and dangerous. Those who see Landron are asked to call 911.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call (864) 942-8407.

An autopsy is scheduled for next week.
