Vote now for the Ashland County Female Track Athlete of the Year

With track season concluding last week at the state track meet in Dayton, the Ashland Times-Gazette now will give readers the chance to vote for this year's Female Track Athlete of the Year.

The Male Track Athlete of the Year poll will run on Tuesday.

The poll will run from Monday at 10 a.m. to Friday at 10 a.m. The winner will be announced next Monday.

Female Track Athlete of the Year Candidates

Tess Shultz, Loudonville

Won two medals (top-eight finishers medal) at Division III state track meet (4th place in 1,600, 5:00.82; 5th place in 3200, 10:58.60) ... Third in 1,600 at regional meet...Won the 1,600 at the Mid-Buckeye Conference meet for the third straight year ...
