Apple’s AirPods are consistently among the most popular true wireless earbuds, but at $250 they’re a little steep—especially with so many surprisingly good alternatives. However, a limited-time deal—timed with the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference event on June 10—brings their price down nearly 25%. At their deal price, you’re not going to find a better all-around pair of earbuds.

When we say “all around” pair of earbuds, we mean that the AirPods Pro 2 have no obvious weak points. The earbuds offer excellent audio quality, active noise cancellation performance, comfort, and last up to six hours per charge. There are other earbuds that may best them in one area—Bose’s QuietComfort Ultras are still the best noise-cancelling earbuds we’ve tested—but the AirPods Pro are still competitive and deliver a great experience overall. The AirPods can be used with any device—including those running Android and Windows—but do have certain features that are only available when you use them with Apple gear. They’ll immediately pair with your iPhone, iPad, or Mac without having to go into the settings screen, and you can find their location using the “Find My” app on your device.
