Costco Announces Recall of Popular Cheese Brand (And 15 More Recalls)
By Jenny Cohen,
Recently, Costco announced the recall of Tillamook cheese slices after gray and black pieces of plastic were discovered in packs of the popular product.
The recall pertains to 32-ounce packages of Tillamook Monterey Jack and Tillamook Colby Jack cheese slices with a use-by date of Oct. 22, produced explicitly for Costco locations in the Northwest.
Sadly, the Tillamook cheese slices aren’t the only item Costco has recalled this year — multiple dairy products manufactured by Rizo-López Foods were recalled in February after a listeria outbreak.
And remember, one of the best Costco hacks is to take full advantage of how easily you can return items.
So if you’re a frequent Costco customer or have purchased something recently from Costco, it may be a good idea to check this list and see if there are any of your items on this list.
Quaker oats and granola bars could be a healthy favorite in your home, but you’ll want to check to see if the products in your pantry have been recalled.
Quaker recalled its Simply Granola Oats cereal and several varieties of its Chewy Granola Bars due to the potential contamination with Salmonella.
Check Costco’s website for recall items and best-before dates to see if your product is affected.
You may have bought a fun bumper car from Costco for a holiday gift, but it may be time to return it.
The Flybar XL Bumper Cars purchased between Oct. 1 and Nov. 22 had vibration issues that could cause parts on the bumper car to fail while in use.

Moss, mold, mildew, and algae stains can be an issue for homeowners who are trying to protect their outdoor spaces.
However, the Wet and Forget Outdoor Cleaner may not be the answer since the product is being recalled for a defective hose end nozzle on products made between February 2018 and November 2023.
Blendjets are a great option to make smoothies on the go, but you also may have to go to Costco to return a defective blender.
The Blendjet 2, which came in a two-pack at Costco, could have overheating issues that are a fire hazard or blade issue that could cause harm to users.
The blenders that have been recalled were made between September 2022 and December 2023.

Springhill Designs is recalling a piece that was included in its furniture purchases from November 2019 to December 2023.
Furniture may have included a restraining system to prevent furniture from falling over with a plastic zip tie that is being recalled for potential failure.
Customers can contact Alliance4Safety for a replacement part.
Don Pancho products

Don Pancho products made between Jan. 17 and Feb. 6 are being recalled due to possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes.
The products include the Don Pancho Crema Trio Pack and the Don Pancho Cilantro Lime Crema sold at Costco.
Beretta has recalled several products it sells at Costco due to potential foodborne pathogens.
The items include:
Fratelli Beretta Antipasto two-pack bought between Sept. 14 and Jan. 9
Fratelli Beretta Antipasto bought between Sept. 14 and Jan. 9
Brusetto Antipasto bought between Sept. 6 and Jan. 9
Fratelli Beretta Uncured Antipasto bought between Sept. 10 and Feb. 14
Fratelli Beretta Spanish Antipasto bought between Oct. 10 and Jan. 9

Banh Pia Mung Bean Durian may contain eggs, which were not listed on the packaging. This could be an issue for people with egg allergies.
The recall affects items bought between Nov. 28 and Feb. 20.
Toshiba Laptop AC Adapters

Dynabook recently issued a recall for its Toshiba Laptop AC Adapters, but this refers to products you could’ve bought at Costco years ago.
The adapters are being recalled due to possible fire hazard issues for units made between April 2008 and December 2012.

Luckily, the impacted items are only sold for Costco locations in the Northwest U.S.
