Beloved British rockers Oasis have shared an unheard version of their 1994 Definitely Maybe album track “Columbia” which will be included on the band’s forthcoming 30th anniversary edition set for release on August 30.

Oasis made the announcement back in May that a special 30 year reissue version of Definitely Maybe was on the way, set to arrive on August 30 in a number of formats, and featuring recordings from the group’s abandoned sessions at Monnow Valley Studios, as well as outtakes from the final recording session at Sawmills Studios. Take a listen to the first of those offerings -- “Columbia (Sawmills Outtake)” -- below, which clocks in at over seven minutes.

As described in the track's lyric video, "Columbia" was one of the first Oasis songs to be written and was originally released as a now legendary white label 12" vinyl. This new release, "mixed for the first time by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho, weighs in at an epic 7 minutes 18 seconds, dwarfing the 6 minutes of the album original."

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher is currently overseas performing Definitely Maybe in full on his solo outing and has recently said that he could be interested in doing the very same when it comes time for a (What’s The Story) Morning Glory 30th-anniversary tour in 2025. Take a look below.

    That's our Liam!
