Many Yankee fans were up in arms after Clay Holmes blew a save in Thursday’s series finale against the Royals, killing hopes of an impressive four-game sweep on the road.

Keith couldn’t help but laugh at fans of the team with the most wins in baseball pouting over one tough loss.

“There’s 162 one-game seasons,” Keith said. “To win the World Series, you have to win every game!

“Yankee fans are spoiled, bro. Honestly, we’re the best fanbase and the worst.”

Where does that spoiled mindset come from? Keith points to the generation of fans that grew up during the dynasty years and became used to winning, while the next generation that hasn’t seen any World Series titles is getting impatient to enjoy what their parents got to in the late 1990s.

“There’s a younger group of Yankee fans…they’re mad,” Keith said. “They’re tired of hearing about Jeter. He’s been retired for 10 years. The 20-year-old fan can barely recall. There’s a younger group of Yankee fans that are 15-20 years old and are tired of hearing about the dynasty.”
