WAYNE, NJ – Each year the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce holds a really fun golf outing, and each year they randomly choose a benefactor for the outing. This year, the Passaic County 200 Club, an organization of men, women, and public safety professionals who stand ready to provide financial assistance to the families of law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel.
The club’s basic mission is both simple and profound. Should any first responder serving in Passaic County die while in the line of duty, the 200 Club will personally hand over a check for $10,000 to the affected family. The club will also set up college scholarships for any children involved.
So, on July 17 at the renowned Ballyowen Golf Course, golfers will tee off to help support this great group.
This is the 41st annual North Jersey Chamber of Commerce golf outing, with the main sponsor Fette Ford, Kia & Infiniti. But more sponsors are needed to make this event a success. Hole sponsorships as well as several other sponsorships are available for companies that want to market to the Chamber members and support the 200 Club.
