    Concord University receives donation from Truist Foundation

    ATHENS, WV (WVNS) — Concord University was given a donation from representatives from the Truist Foundation.

    New Bachelor of Science degree to be offered at Concord University

    A total of $7,500 was given in support of the Pathways Retention Scholarship Fund. This fund gives 50 West Virginia residents who are dealing with a financial crisis $2,000 scholarships each year to prevent them from having to end their education at Concord University.

    Truist’s mission is to help build better lives and inspire lives and communities by making a meaningful difference for those in need.

    “On behalf of Concord University and our students, I extend our deepest gratitude to Truist for their generous donation to the Pathways Retention Scholarship Fund. This donation plays a crucial role in helping our students continue their education and achieve their academic goals. I would like to thank Truist for making a significant difference in the lives of our students and our community,” said Anna Hardy, Chief Student Affairs Officer and Dean of Students.
