Zenless Zone Zero Teams Up with DJ Tiësto for Global Musical Collaboration

Today, HoYoverse brought another media addition to their latest release, Zenless Zone Zero , and it appears the title is getting a big global musical collaboration with DJ Tiësto.

The HoYoverse has brought another new addition to their Zenless Zone Zero release, and this time, it’s uncorking a musical collaboration that is going global. HoYoverse is collaborating with Grammy Award-Winning Producer DJ Tiësto, and the renowned DJ duo Lucas & Steve will also join the mash-up. The new musical mash-up has launched a Zenless Zone Zero teaser that’s 15 seconds long, and it can be seen below.

The 15-second YouTube short reveals to fans that “this is the entrance to the next level” in an almost SHODAN-like voice. Both DJ Tiësto and DJs Lucas & Steve are household Dutch names in the music scene, and Tiësto is the first ever DJ to perform on stage at the Olympics in 2004. The HoYoverse is trying to build immersion in Zenless Zone Zero by including instantly recognizable music on the global level. What hasn’t been revealed is whether the musical addition will consist of new music designated for Zenless Zone Zero , if previously released music will be licensed for the title, or if this is a stand-off event.

Zenless Zone Zero has gotten off to a fast start (even before release), with reportedly over 30 million pre-registrations for the title before launch. While not much has been revealed about this new collaboration, musical collaborations have proven incredibly lucrative in the past for online games, including Epic Games Fortnite , after they’ve recruited acts like Billie Eilish and Eminem to host massive musical events directly in-game.

The HoYoverse has given fans a date on when this collaboration will take off, as more details will be published on July 2nd. This is notably two days before the official July 4th release date of Zenless Zone Zero itself.
