Cue up “Pomp and Circumstance” for the Class of 2024! Over the past few weeks, several soap stars from General Hospital, The Bold & The Beautiful, The Young & The Restless, Days of Our Lives, One Life to Live, All My Children, Port Charles, Guiding Light, and Passions have cheered on their sons, daughters, mothers, sisters, and nieces for achieving the milestone of graduation! Some of them even graduated themselves!

Don Diamont (Brad, B&B)

On May 13, the actor and his wife, Cindy Ambuehl, watched their son Luca earn his diploma at Duke University in North Carolina. “What a weekend filled with parental, and familial pride as we celebrated Luca’s graduation from Duke’s Sanford School of Public Policy and join his entire class for the 2024 Commencement honors. Luca, you more than lived up to the demands of being a student-athlete and cemented lifelong friendships [with] the football team and student body. We know that all of your experiences, physically, intellectually, and spiritually while at Duke will hold you in good stead as your journey continues into the next phase of your life. We all love you!”

Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH)

Benard’s daughter, Cailey, has been working as a marriage and family therapist for several years. On April 27, she earned her master’s degree from the Graduate School of Education & Psychology at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. “What happens when you see your daughter receive her master’s from Pepperdine. It feels like one of the seven wonders of the world. So proud of you, Cailey. Years and years of schooling, and with two children. You did it, baby. Now it’s time to help the world heal.”

Kristian Alfonso (Hope, DAYS)

Alfonso’s son, Jack Tassis Daggenhurst, graduated from Boston College on May 20 surrounded by his family! “Congratulations, Jack. Mom and dad, your brothers Gino and Spartan, Uncle Harry, [and] your godfather couldn’t be more proud of you today. Our hearts are bursting with joy. Well done, honey, well done! Love you so.”

Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane, Y&R)

When Goddard’s son, Ford, graduated from high school on June 10, godfather Bryton James (Devon) was there for the special moment. “Dear Ford, the pride your mum and I feel is truly immeasurable. You have overcome extraordinary obstacles and carried yourself with grace and decorum along the way. Your selfless spirit and kind heart leaves an impact on everyone and everything you come in contact with. You inspire me to be a better man every day and not a moment passes that you don’t fill your mum’s and my heart with complete and total joy. I’m sorry for all the gushing but I just want you to know… if you don’t already, how proud we are of you now and forever. And Bryton, thank you for being a part of our family’s life! Ford couldn’t have a greater godfather. We love you.”

Cameron Mathison (Drew, GH)

The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles was where Mathison, son Lucas, and wife Vanessa cheered on Leila and the Campbell Hall Class of 2024. “A chapter closes, and a new one begins as Leila graduates high school. Your dedication, resilience, and passion have brought you to this moment, and I couldn’t be prouder. You amaze me every single day. I love you so much. Here’s to all the adventures that lie ahead.”

Heather Tom (Katie, B&B)

Tom and husband James Achor’s son, Zane, is moving on up to middle school now that he’s graduated from 5th grade. “You’ll always be my baby, but I can’t wait to see what kind of man you’ll be.”

Brooklyn Rae Silzer (ex-Emma, GH)

“That’s a wrap,” Silzer shared on the night she graduated from Troy High School in Fullerton, California.

Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami, DAYS)

Ben — Sweeney and husband Dave Savoy’s oldest —walked across the stage on May 25. “We are so proud of Ben. What a big night cheering on Ben as he graduates high school! Oh, the places you’ll go.”

Melissa Ordway (Abby, Y&R)

Ordway’s younger daughter, Sophie, donned an adorable pink cap and gown for the ceremony at her school in Nashville. “And just like that we have a kindergarten graduate,” Ordway wrote, adding that Olivia is a future 3rd grader. “Sophie wants to be an actress and Olivia wants to be a party planner/ host. I couldn’t be more proud of my girls in their talent show and all their hard work this year. Thankful for our sweet school and these amazing teachers!”

Eric Martsolf (Brady, DAYS)

Martsolf and his wife, Lisa, had two reasons to celebrate when their twins, Chase and Mason. “Here we go… Class of 2024,” Lisa wrote, referencing a lyric from the song “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. “‘The rest is still unwritten.’ Couldn’t be prouder of you.”

Eva LaRue (Natalia, GH)

Kaya — the daughter of LaRue and the late John Callahan (Edmund, All My Children), earned her diploma from Arizona State University on May 10. “I have never been more proud, SweetPea! No need to try to fit in when you were born to stand out! #yourdadwouldbesoproud #johnisbeaming”

Bradley Cole (Richard, GL)

“So proud of you,” Cole wrote to his son, Sean, the day the teen graduated from high school.

Sarah Joy Brown (Madison, DAYS; ex-Claudia, GH)

Hailey, Brown’s niece who lives with her, is a high school graduate! “Congratulations to the class of 2024! You can do anything babe! I love you and I’m over the moon today. So proud of you. Enjoy your special day with your class!”

Lisa LoCicero (Olivia, GH)

When LoCicero’s son, Lukas, earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts on May 11, little sister Verity helped him say “peace out” to the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts. “Proud doesn’t come close,” LoCicero wrote. “Funny, smart, talented…and most of all, radically kind. Welcome to the world!”

Tahj Bellow (TJ, GH)

Bellow was a proud son when his mom, Latasha, got her diploma from the University of Phoenix’s business program. “My mom is a true queen. Congratulations on earning your Master of Business Administration! I’m eternally inspired by your ability to persevere and transform. You are living proof of the human spirit, and our ability to remain fiercely dedicated, unyielding, and resilient. I love you! Latasha R. Bellow, MBA.”

Lily Brooks O’Briant (Lucy, Y&R)

O'Briant's hard work paid off when she graduated from the Stargate Music Program at the Los Angeles Academy for Artists & Music Production. “LAAMP Graduation,” she wrote. “These past nine months have taught me more about myself, music, songwriting, and collaboration than I ever thought was possible. Thank you to Stargate, every mentor, every producer, every songwriter that made my journey at LAAMP so incredible. Thirty-five songs later, here we are. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Jessica Morris (Jennifer, OLTL) & Rib Hillis (Jake, GH/Port Charles)

The newlyweds doubled-up celebrating their first year of marriage with the graduation of Hillis’ daughter, Hannah, on May 11. “Wonderful weekend in Massachusetts celebrating my beautiful stepdaughter’s college graduation and our one-year wedding anniversary.”

Brian Gaskill (ex-Seth, Y&R)

Gaskill’s daughter, Alabama Zoe, graduated from high school on May 24. “And she did it.”

McKenzie Westmore (Riley, AMC; Sheridan, Passions)

Westmore was in tears as her son earned his high school diploma. “As I watched you walk across the stage, Maddox, a flood of memories came rushing back. From your first steps to this monumental one towards your future, every moment has been a treasure. Proud isn’t just a word; it’s a profound emotion resonating through my heart. Your graduation isn’t just about a diploma; it’s about all the mornings we rushed out the door, the long days of last-minute study sessions, and every little success in between that has shaped you. I can’t wait to see all the incredible places you’ll go and the dreams you’ll turn into reality. Here’s to celebrating this milestone and looking forward to the many more to come!”
