Jessica Pegula named to the U.S. Olympic tennis team

Jessica Pegula is on her way to Paris, France as part of the USA Olympic Tennis team.

Pegula, daughter of Bills and Sabres owner’s Terry and Kim Pegula, is now a 2nd time Olympian after being named to the USA Tennis team on Thursday.

At 30, Pegula is the 5th ranked female tennis player in the world and she is joined by the 2nd ranked female player in the world, Coco Gauff, 11th ranked, Desirae Krawczyk, 17th ranked Emma Navarro and Miami Open Champion Danielle Collins.

Pegula will play singles along with Gauff, Collins and Navarro and will also be paired with Gauff in doubles.

The Paris Olympics will get underway later this Summer, starting July 26th with the first Tennis matches getting started the very next day on the 27th.
