    Former OK judge arrested in Ottawa County on DUI complaint

    MIAMI, Okla. – A former Rogers County judge with a history of drunken driving violations is being held in the Ottawa County jail on a complaint of driving under the influence.

    Kassie McCoy, 42, of Oklahoma City, was arrested Friday on complaints of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash.

    Miami Police officers was dispatched to Taco Bell in reference to a crash in the drive-thru lane, according to a statement released by the Miami Police Department.

    McCoy fled the scene and was taken into custody near the 900 block of Pine.

    McCoy allegedly told the arresting officer “she would have his job because she was a judge in Rogers County.”

    The former judge was charged in Rogers County with a DUI in 2021, and a misdemeanor charge of actual physical control of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

    Her blood alcohol content level was .35, court records show.

    She pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge and the DUI was dropped.  She received a three-year deferred sentence.

    On April 8, 2022 she was charged with a DUI in Mesa County, Colorado, Her blood alcohol level registered .186.

    She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year probation.

    The Oklahoma Bar Association suspended her license for two years in 2023.
