Kraken-Canucks Set To Kick Off 2024-25 Pre-Season Slate

Mark your calendars, Seattle Kraken fans.

We've learned two dates of Kraken pre-season games and their opponent.

The Vancouver Canucks released their six-game pre-season slate, home-and-home games with the Kraken, Calgary Flames, and Edmonton Oilers. That's the same arrangement Seattle had for its own pre-season, making it a reasonable inference that Kraken games this season will look similar.

Vancouver and Seattle will meet for the first time at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 24. (Last year's game north of the border was played in Abbortsford, BC, at the home of the Canucks AHL affiliate.)

The roster for that first game, as usual, will include a number of prospects currently playing in the AHL Calder Cup Final for Coachella Valley. They'll be playing for a familiar face, Dan Bylsma, who turns his full attention to the Kraken once the Firebirds season is over.
