    Lawrence County man arrested after drugs were delivered by mail

    LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A man was arrested Thursday after authorities received information about drugs being delivered by mail, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said.

    The sheriff’s office and United States Postal Service inspectors were alerted to “illicit drugs” that were delivered to an address in the Langtown community.

    LCSO said that on June 20, agents executed a search warrant for a home connected to Robert Scott Dobbins.

    Agents reportedly found more than 177 grams of methamphetamines, 0.8 grams of fentanyl, MDMA, LSD, shrooms, and sildenafil citrate, along with packing materials.

    Dobbins was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at the Lawrence County Jail on a $24,500 bond.
