NFL star Khalen Saunders has gained new-found fame for a completely unexpected reason.

The two-time Super Bowl champion is seen by fans as the invisible string in the romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift .

Khalen is one of Kelce’s former teammates on the Kansas City Chiefs .

Meanwhile, his brother Kameron is currently performing alongside Swift as a backup dancer on her Eras Tour.

Many fans have been stunned by the unlikely link between Swift and Kelce, who recently teamed up on stage at Wembley Stadium in London.

And many fans believe that Khalen played a role in the A-list couple first connecting last year.

Khalen is a hugely successful NFL star in his own right.

The 324-pounder was selected by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft .

In four years with the team, he played in 38 games and recorded 81 tackles and 4.5 sacks.

After his rookie deal with the Chiefs expired, he signed a three-year pact with the New Orleans Saints worth a maximum of $14.5 million.

After leaving the Chiefs, the 27-year-old described the free agency process as “emotional as hell.”

Khalen recently revealed that he was most likely the biggest Swiftie on the Saints squad.

“Might be me; I’ve got my brother performing on the tour with her. I’ve been to a couple of shows, been to a couple of events out there in Vegas,” he said .

“I’m just having a good time supporting my brother. I might have title on that one.”

Khalen has described himself as a “dancing panda.”

“I’m the biggest guy on the defensive line, and I know I’m an athlete,” he said .

“So, that just goes to show, all of our guys, we’ve got a bunch of dancing pandas in there.

“A lot of guys quick, nimble on their feet.”

Last season, Khalen started all 17 games for the Saints and had a career-high 57 tackles.

He failed to log any sacks despite having 3.5 the year before, however.

When asked about his one-field skills, Saunders said: “I’m a big body, I’m more of a run player.

“Big body. You know, I definitely use violence in my hands and stuff like that.

“And also, just athleticism. Just raw athleticism. I take pride in being an athlete.”
