A French woman is currently recovering from a traumatizing attack at a zoo outside Paris . It all happened when she was out on a morning jog in the safari-style venue.

According to Le Parisien , an unnamed 36-year-old woman was jogging in the safari zone of Thoiry Safari Park, which is off-limits for pedestrians and only open to motorists, around 9 a.m. on June 23 when an Arctic wolf attacked and seriously injured her. Versailles prosecutor Maryvonne Caillibotte confirmed that the victim "suffered particularly serious bites, causing injuries to the neck, calf, and back."

"Luckily the medical staff intervened very quickly and we were able to save this person," the zoo’s president Christelle Bercheny told reporters, per CNN . The woman was transported to the hospital and was stabilized later that afternoon. Authorities told Le Parisien that zookeepers heard the woman screaming and came to the rescue.

The woman was staying with her baby at one of the lodges offered within the park. These experiences are meant to mimic that of being on a real African safari as you spend a night close to the animals. Lodges in the zoo's Arctic wolf zone go for anywhere between €220 and €760 ($235–$810) per night.

"Silence, rest and disconnection will be at the heart of your immersion in nature," the zoo says of the accommodations. "You will have the opportunity to relax and live a unique experience in complete privacy with the Arctic wolves that you can observe night and day from your living room ."
