BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Bedford County man was killed in a crash on Saturday in East Saint Clair Township.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to Quaker Valley Road on June 22 just after 10 p.m. for a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and truck pulling a camper. William Stufft, 58, from Alum Bank was traveling west on a motorcycle and a Pittsburgh man who was driving the truck was also traveling west.

Police noted in the report that Stufft was traveling behind the truck when he struck it. This caused him to skid off the roadway, across the eastbound lane and down an embankment.

The motorcycle came to an uncontrolled rest against a wooden pole. Stufft was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
