    Celebrate July 4th: City-by-city listings of firework displays in Volusia and Flagler

    It seems like only yesterday that the ball dropped to welcome the new year, but it’s already time to celebrate the nation’s grand Independence Day.

    There are plenty of opportunities to mark the occasion in Volusia and Flagler counties.

    Here’s a list of July 4th celebrations that range from festivals to parades, concerts and, of course, fireworks:

    Daytona Beach

    Freedom Festival, with veterans’ ceremony, family-friendly games, cornhole tournament, face-painting, waterslide, live music, food trucks and beverage vendors: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. June 29; Manatee Island, along Riverfront Esplanade, 355 N.
