Temporary Repair at Eastside Boat Ramp

The floats at the Eastside Boat Ramp were damaged several months ago and had to be removed.

The permanent repair which includes repairing the floats and reinstalling the piles will occur later this summer. However, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, the City of Coos Bay Public Works Department will be installing three floats for use during this interim period.

During the installation of the floats, the boat ramp will be closed, however it is planned to be open on Friday, June 28, 2024. This is only a temporary repair until all of the floats and piles can be reinstalled. If using the boat ramp in this interim period, please take caution during low tides.
