    Muscogee Co. Sheriff’s Office arrest wanted gang member on multiple felony warrants

    MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. ( WRBL ) – The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said a wanted fugitive was arrested on multiple felony warrants for crimes including criminal gang activity, possession with intent to sell synthetic drugs and marijuana.

    On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office special operations unit and the U.S. Marshal’s Service found and detained Dewon Neal, who MCSO says is a validated gang member and was wanted by the sheriff’s office.

    Authorities took Neal to the Muscogee County Jail and charged him with:

    • 12 counts of participation in criminal gang activity
    • Four counts of use of a communication facility to commit a crime
    • Four counts of items prohibited by inmates
    • Four counts of crossing guard lines
    • Four counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I (Synthetic Cannabinoids)
    • Four counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana
