Mike Perry Lays Out Plan To Ruin Jake Paul's Next Fight Against Mike Tyson: 'That's The Real Win Here!'

Mike Perry believes that Jake Paul and his team are underestimating him due to their decision to take this fight on short notice.

When Paul's clash with Mike Tyson was postponed due to the boxing legend's health concerns, "The Problem Child" made the call to "Platinum."

Whilst his upcoming contest with Perry in Tampa is still a long way away from the rescheduled date with Tyson in November, there is still the element that "Platinum" could derail this fight with a statement defeat of Paul.

Perry himself admitted that whilst this is the goal, he has some conflicting feelings on what the outcome may be if he does knock Paul out.

Mike Perry Wants To Cancel Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson By Knocking Paul Out

Perry spoke in an interview with Michael Bisping about how he is coming to Tampa to knock Paul out and cancel his rescheduled date with Tyson.

That being said, he also spoke about how taking a fight with Tyson would put him in a difficult position where he wouldn't want to hurt the 58-year-old fighter.

"I might nibble on his [Paul's] ear a little bit, get him ready for if he thinks he's gonna fight Mike Tyson. I'm trying to ruin that whole thing for him, see if they offer it to me after I knock Jake out and be like, 'Hey do you want to fight Mike Tyson on Netflix?'

"You know, I would, but I don't want to be an a****** either and I could go in there and move around with him and if Mike can't knock me out which I don't know, he might be able to hurt me pretty good and then I'll be the bad guy if I do good against the old guy."

Perry did state that despite his mixed feelings on boxing Tyson, he doesn't want to see the Paul fight happen so proving to be a spanner in the works is his focus.

"That's the real win here, if I can stop that but I don't want it to hurt Mike's pockets either. If Mike wants to get paid and he wants to fight well then I'll step in for Jake, I'll put my guard up real good, let him punch on me."
