Imagine Scoring Pumping Greenbush and HTs in the Same Day (Video)

Edits like this one are a great example why Nate Florence has nearly a half million subscribers on YouTube. No other surfer makes you feel something the way Florence can.

While his concept (scoring slabs all over the world) is simple enough, the execution is what sets Florence apart. Through the use of a Go Pro to capture his POV, while splicing in drone and boat/beach angles, Florence tells a comprehensive story without saying much.

In the clip above, Florence brings us along as he boards a boat from HTs bound for Greenbush. On arrival, he hits record on his GoPro, paddles over, hoots other surfers in, and waits his turn. As you'll see, Florence drops anchor out the back, letting set after set pass him by, until it's his turn and the wave he wants swings his way. It's a lesson in sharing, patience, and wave knowledge, and one of the reasons Florence is so welcome in lineups all over the world. Unlike some surfers, Florence chooses quality over quantity, which almost always equals him riding the best wave of the day. In fact, during this particular session at Greenbush, Florence only rides 6 waves, and doesn't fall once.

This session alone would make most surfers' trip, year, and maybe even lives. But Florence and crew actually jetted back to HTs afterwards and arrived there just in time for the wind to switch and the swell to pulse. Amazingly, Florence scored even better tubes in the afternoon . Greenbush for breakfast, and HTs for dinner. Who does that?

This just more proof that your dream is Florence's reality. And lucky for us all, he brings us along for the ride.
