This noise machine is small so it is easy to take from place to place if needed. It has an option to use either a wall adapter or batteries. “ I love falling asleep to the sound of rain and this helps me sleep so peacefully. It has volume control so I can drown out my husband’s snoring. It has several different settings that are real life sounding. I like that it has a timer as well so it doesn’t stay on all night. It is small and lightweight which is perfect for traveling. I tried using the nature sounds on my phone but then my alarm wasn’t loud enough in the morning to wake me after I would turn it down for the spa music the night before. This solves my problem.
