Alanis Morissette Performs With ‘Dream Daughter’ Onyx To Celebrate Special Milestone & It Brought Fans to Tears

It’s been days, and we’re still not over a non-ironic, totally iconic mother-daughter moment between Alanis Morissette and her daughter. (TBH, we might never be.) So in case you missed it, we have to share the beyond adorable news. At the singer’s recent concert in Nashville, she brought her 8-year-old daughter on stage to join her in singing “Ironic,” one of her fan-favorite songs.

“Birthday angel girl moment 💫✨ singing ironic together 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🎂🥹🥹🥹🥹,” Morissette captioned a photo of the special moment. “I love you so much onyx you are my dream daughter ❤️❤️🩷🩷”

In the photo, the two each hold microphones and look at each other adoringly. It was such a special performance that understandably brought fans to tears.
