A GoFundMe has been set up for the family of Houston and Cassi Mitchell, of Charlie, whose home was destroyed by a fire on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
Mckayla Mitchell, the organizer of the GoFundMe and Houston’s sister, said almost all of their belongings were unsalvageable after the fire, from the family’s clothing to their 4-year-old daughter’s toys. She said they also lost three fur babies in the fire.
“They are so blessed to have walked away with their lives but besides each other, they now only have the clothes on their backs,” Mitchell said on the GoFundMe page.
