After earning a place on numerous best-dressed lists in Balenciaga Couture at the 2024 Oscars, Michelle Yeoh continued her relationship with the fashion house by attending its latest couture show in Paris on Wednesday.

For the show, the Oscar winner wore a floor-sweeping black leather trench, coupled with a pair of dark black sunglasses and a swingy bob hairstyle.
“That amazing swing-back black leather coat is from Demna’s first couture collection,” Yeoh explained of the outfit. “We paired it with a pantalegging, one of Balenciaga ’s classics. For the jewels, all shiny rhinestones.”
As for her favorite part of the look: “I love the casual aspect of the trench that makes it nonchalant, but the couture construction of the piece, with the integrated corset, gives an upscale feeling to it.”
Yeoh has worn Balenciaga for awhile now, attending several of the brand’s shows and wearing the designs to many a red carpet.

Wearing Balenciaga makes her feel “different.”
“I love playing with diverse looks for each Balenciaga moment. Also feeling creative, thinking of the hair and makeup to complete the silhouettes,” she said. “This time it’s inspired by Demna’s spring ’25 collection I saw in Shanghai last month.”
While in Paris, the Geneva-based actress has a packed schedule.
“Paris is my second home, so [I’ll be] having a good time with some friends like I do when I’m in town. As a member of the Olympics committee, I also have some important and exciting meetings to attend ahead of next month.”
