Where you can find the new Flatwoods Monster brick set

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Heads up West Virginia LEGO fans, a Flatwoods Monster brick set is hitting shelves around north central West Virginia.

This new set is a simple-to-build, 60-piece brick set for the Flatwoods Monster, sometimes called the Braxton Monster or “Braxie.” The set is made by Northwoods Bricks, which has previously made large and small Mothman brick sets and a few other cryptids you may or may not recognize.

The set is currently available on the Northwoods Bricks website as a standalone purchase or as part of the “West Virginia Cryptid Combo Pack,” which also includes a 109-piece miniature Mothman brick set. You can also find the Flatwoods Monster set and the miniature Mothman set at the following locations:

Northwoods Bricks told 12 News that they are also developing a larger-scale Braxton Monster set which is expected to be released sometime in the summer or late fall of 2024.

The Flatwoods Monster is said to be a 12-foot-tall creature from outer space with glowing red eyes and a head shaped like an ace of spades. The story was primarily pushed into the public eye by Gray Barker, a West Virginia UFO conspiracy theorist and hoaxter. Through his book “ They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers ” and other publications like the “Gray Barker Newsletter” and “The Saucerian,” Barker told dozens of similar stories such as the Veggie Man of Fairmont .
