Once at the scene, deputies found ammunition on the ground. The victim told authorities that he and his ex-romantic partner, 40-year-old Ikeyia Reed, of Stafford, got into an argument when she allegedly pulled out a gun and started chasing him while firing rounds.

The Sheriff’s Office said Reed then got into a vehicle and allegedly hit the man before driving away.

SCSO confirmed the man was not shot, but received minor injuries.

As deputies searched the area, they located Reed’s vehicle on Paris Lane. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a gun was found inside the car, and Reed allegedly showed several signs of intoxication.

She was charged with the following:

    • Brandishing a firearm
    • Assault
    • Assault and battery
    • Driving under the influence
    • Driving while suspended
