Gregg Berhalter's USMNT are set to clash with Panama in their second group match at Copa America 2024.

The USA side kicked off their campaign on a high note, securing a dominant 2-0 win over Bolivia in the opening game. Goals from star players Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun ensured a strong start for the USMNT.

Their next challenge takes them to Atlanta, where they will face Panama. Despite a spirited performance, Panama suffered a 3-1 defeat to Uruguay in their first match.

The upcoming game promises to be a test of the USMNT's consistency and Panama's resilience as both teams vie for crucial points in the tournament.

USA vs. Panama predicted lineups, starting 11, team news

Given how well the system worked against Bolivia at the weekend, Gregg Berhalter may be reluctant to change it up too much.

Joe Scally , at 21, was the youngest player to feature, while Tim Ream , at 36 years and 261 days, became the oldest American to play in this tournament.

Tyler Adams made his first start since the victory over Mexico in the March Nations League final. Giovanni Reyna , meanwhile, has started four consecutive matches for the USMNT.

Folarin Balogun bagged his fourth goal for the national team, and Christian Pulisic became the third American to score in five different competitions, joining only Eric Wynalda and Clint Dempsey.

Josh Sargent missed both pre-tournament friendlies with a foot injury, but recovered in time to make the bench at the Copa America opener.

USA predicted starting XI: (4-3-3, right to left): Turner (GK) — Scally, Richards, Ream, A. Robinson — Reyna, Adams, McKennie — Weah, Balogun, Pulisic.

    Injured: None
    Suspended: None

Three new players were introduced to Panama's starting 11 versus Uruguay, Edgardo Farina , Jose Luis Rodriguez , and Adalberto Carrasquilla all started.

Carrasquilla plays for the Houston Dynamo and is one of three players on this roster currently with an American club, alongside Omar Valencia (New York Red Bulls II) and Carlos Harvey (Minnesota United).

Michael Murillo scored the only goal in their defeat to Uruguay, marking his eighth international goal for the Marseille defender.

Panama predicted starting XI (5-4-1, right to left): Mosquera (GK) — Murillo, Farina, Cordoba, Miller, Davis — Rodriguez, Welch, Carrasquilla, Barcenas — Fajardo.

    Injured: None
    Suspended: None
