We have good news and bad news surrounding Teen Mom star Amber Portwood and her partner Gary Wayt , whom she reported missing earlier his month.

The good news is: Gary has been found. He’s safe and sound. The bad news: these two love birds have called off their engagement in the aftermath of his disappearance.

Page Six reported all of the details of the bizarre breakup. It all started when the two traveled to North Carolina for a wedding. The cops said that the two of them got into a fight, prompting Gary to drive off into the night with nothing but the clothes on his back. On the other hand, Amber went on YouTube and claimed that there wasn’t a fight . She just acted like he disappeared for no reason.

Either way, the cops confirmed that Gary had been located . The case is closed, and he’s no longer considered “missing,” So, a source close to Amber said she felt “closure” with the situation. However, the ordeal caused irreparable harm to their relationship.

“They’ve decided that it’s over between them and their engagement is off,” the source claimed. “They have too much to overcome to move forward together.”

According to the source, this breakup was probably a long time coming. They said that Gary’s family wasn’t a huge fan of the Teen Mom star, who spent 16 months in prison for various offenses. Apparently, Amber was having a hard time moving past that drama.

“Gary’s family was looking her up online and looking at her past and not everything they saw online was true,” the insider explained.
