Don't worry Chloe, it happens to all of us at some point. I'll be honest, I grew up hating Travis Tritt . I'm talking back when I was 9, 10 years old. Mainly because it was all my mom would listen to. Of course it didn't take long for me to learn to appreciate it too, but when you're 10 years old on the way to school listening to "Help Me Hold On," it can be tough. But like any country fan, I eventually grew up with Travis Tritt as a regular in my rotation, and these days I would say that he's close to the top of the list of my favorite '90s country artists. His catalog is pretty unmatched, with everything from heartbreakers like "Best of Intentions" and "Tell Me I Was Dreaming" to rowdy drinkin' songs like "Country Club" and of course, "T-R-O-U-B-L-E," and classics like "Modern Day Bonnie & Clyde" and "It's A Great Day To Be Alive." Just an absolutely stacked catalog. And it seems like younger generations are discovering the heat that Travis Tritt has put out over the years too. A video posted to TikTok (by a proud dad, no doubt) shows a young girl getting all up in her feels as she listens to "Anymore" for the first time. The daughter tries to cover her face as the dad laughs about the 13-year old being brought to tears by "the Tritt," but you just know that dad is just thinking about what a great job he's done as he watches his daughter cry to Travis Tritt.
The kind of moment that would make any parent proud. Good job dad, and Chloe, welcome to the club.
