    Two hurt in crash outside of Prince George fire station

    PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash outside of a Prince George County fire station Thursday afternoon.

    According to Prince George County Fire and EMS, firefighters inside Station 8 heard “a loud boom” outside of the building the afternoon of Thursday, June 27.

    When they headed outside, they found a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned pickup truck on the road right in front of the station. According to fire officials, a person was trapped in the pickup truck.

    The trapped person was freed by firefighters and taken to a local hospital. Another person injured in the crash was also taken to the hospital. According to fire officials, both had injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
