WORLD PREMIERE: Old Dominion- ‘Coming Home’

Audacy is bringing you the world premiere of Old Dominion’ s new single, “Coming Home,” beginning June 28 at 12AM ET on select Audacy Country stations nationwide.

“’Coming Home’, came to life in studio, in the moment,” frontman, Matt Ramsey told Audacy of the song. “We've had some success with that formula before. We were not trying necessarily to create the next single, it just was in the room with us.”

He continued, “As it came to life in the studio, it started to become more and more obvious that it was what we needed to come with next and what we wanted to come with next. It was just so much energy and so much joy in the sound of it.”

While the song is a new overall concept for the guys with a semi-new sound, guitarist Brad Tursi says it still has the OD “feel” that fans have always loved.

“We love the song so much… It has a great sound that we necessarily haven't done yet with the harmonica,” Tursi shared. “We were coming off a song was a little more of a ballad so we figured we needed to spice it up a little with some tempo for y'all.”

Added Trevor Rosen, “What we hope fans take away from the song is… it's a lot of energy and we just hope they have fun… It's fun to try to stretch the limits of what we've done before and then have it still sound like us.”
