Christie Sides is Taking Serious Heat After a Concerning Admission From Caitlin Clark

After the Indiana Fever's loss to the Seattle Storm on Thursday night, Caitlin Clark was asked about the best "in-game advice" she's received from a veteran player so far in her WNBA career.

Clark made a concerning admission in her response.

"Nobody gives me advice in game. I wish," Clark said.

Clark was asked about advice she's received from a player. But just like in any professional sports league, the buck stops with the head coach. As such, the responsibility falls on Christie Sides to help her No. 1 overall pick with in-game adjustments.

Sides is taking some serious heat on social media after this admission from Clark.

"Oh christie sides count your days," one fan wrote.

"Christie Sides might want to put up her 'Looking for Work' status on LinkedIn," another said.

"@fever Remind me again...Why is @ChristieSides the Head Coach again?" another asked.

Following a four-game winning streak, the Fever have now dropped each of their last two games. Clark and her squad fell to the Seattle Storm on Thursday night.

Sides, Clark and the Fever will look to bounce back in a matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday afternoon.
