Suspect sought in hotel room burglary on Claussen Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an unidentified suspect in connection with a recent burglary at a local hotel.

The incident report states that on June 25, the man pictured here reportedly entered the victim’s hotel room after he was transported to a local hospital due to a medical emergency.

Taken from the room were a white diecast Camaro model, a silver twelve-gauge shotgun, a black bag with a black American flag on it, the victim’s medication, his driver’s license and bank card, and $190 in cash.

Surveillance video showed that an unidentified white female subject accompanied the suspect. Hotel management states that the two were trespassing on the property.
