R.I.P. Lizzy Musi: ‘Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings’ Star Dead At 33

Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings star Lizzy Musi died on Thursday (June 27) following a battle with Stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer. She was 33.

Her father and co-star Pat Musi broke the news of her passing on Facebook , sharing that Lizzy was “surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home” when she was “called to heaven at 11:25pm tonight,” per E! News .

Pat thanked fans for “all the prayers and support throughout her battle,” and asked for the family to have “time to process, grief and make arrangements in peace.”

“We will give an update as soon as we have information to share,” he concluded.

Hailing from North Carolina, Lizzy had opened up about her diagnosis in an Instagram post on April 21, 2023, informing fans that she had “been Diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer that [had] moved to [her] lymph nodes to [her] liver.”

According to the American Cancer Society , triple-negative breast cancer “refers to the fact that the cancer cells don’t have estrogen or progesterone receptors (ER or PR) and also don’t make any or too much of the protein called HER2.” Described as an “aggressive type of invasive breast cancer,” the diagnosis “accounts for about 10-15% of all breast cancers.”

As noted by E! News and People , she kept fans in the loop with regard to her cancer battle, telling them in June that she had opted to shave her head .

In an April 11 Instagram post, she highlighted that April marked “a full year” since her diagnosis.

“I am so very thankful to what this journey has actually taught me. I now know I have a purpose in life,” she wrote. “I am grateful to keep going. GOD, my support of my family & friends and my knowledgeable doctors @mdandersoncancercenter AND @dukecancerinstitute gives me the strength and go!”

Lizzy and her father starred together on the Street Outlaws spin-off, which debuted in 2018, in which “street racers battle at rough, untested tracks across the country and earn points depending on how they perform,” per discoveryGO’s synopsis.
