Woman's Amazing Military Barracks Makeover Has Jaws on the Floor

When you join a military branch and head off for training you are assigned sleeping quarters called barracks. These rooms are intended to just be a place to set your things, sleep, and recover. They really are so far from special, and lack taste, style, and even comforts, many featuring plain flooring, bland walls, and nothing but a nightstand and bed frame . One woman in the military and lover of style took it upon herself to give her barracks a makeover and it left the internet in love, check it out below!

This woman really pulled out ALL the stops! She placed a large area rug in the room and where the old checkered muiti colored floor was she placed vinyl stick faux wood flooring . She added a cute black metal bedframe, a new nightstand, art, mirrors, plants, and cascading curtains. Such a cute makeover!

Gallery walls are one of the best ways to make use of a big open space, they add flare and can be styled in many different ways to please every home aesthetic to exist.

The main point of a gallery wall is to fill open space and there is a few ways to do that depending on your personal style. If you have a clean modern home opt for similar frames with black and white, or monotoned colored prints and photos in the inside, with a thick white border trim. Lay your frames out so they land symmetrically.

If you have a more thrifted style of home opt for funky frames in all sorts of shapes and sizes, that are thrifted of course, and don’t go for an organized layout pattern, snake it your own!
