Kyren Williams did his best Ricky Bobby impersonation recently when he quoted the famous Will Ferrell 'Talladega Nights' character regarding his production goals for 2024-2025.

"If you're not first, you're last," the Rams running back said , adding that he is aiming to become a number one overall caliber running back in fantasy football terms when asked about his number four ranking by talk show host Rich Eisen.

One player who could cut into Williams' fantasy totals this season is rookie running back Blake Corum of Michigan, who was selected 83rd overall in the 2024 NFL Draft (third round).

Williams said he was "super excited" that the Rams had an opportunity to draft the Michigan standout, nation champion and Heisman Trophy contender, even though it might mean less touches for him this season in Coach Sean McVay's offense.

"I'm super excited that we went to go draft Blake Corum, somebody that can run the ball very well," Williams said.

"Hopefully, that allows me to get to the slot or run routes out of the backfield to showcase my skills that I have for this game."

Williams racked up 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns last season for McVay's team while Corum put up 1,245 yards and 27 touchdowns for Coach Jim Harbaugh's Michigan Wolverines.
