Athens County public meetings

The Athens Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Athens Township Hall, 313 W. Union St., Athens, to discuss evaluation and recommended maintenance of all township public roads contained in a report submitted by National Pavement Analysis, LLC.The Village of Albany Grants Committee and Albany Improvement Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. July 1 in the village council room.The Survivor Advocacy Outreach Program will host a hybrid public meeting on a proposal to build affordable housing options in Athens County. Columbia Township Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting at 4 p.m. July 3 at Columbia Volunteer Fire Department.Amesville Village Council meets the second Wednesday of each month at 16 Maple St., Amesville. June meeting is at 6:30 p.m. July 10.The Southeast Ohio Recycling Terminal Council of Governments (SORT) board meetingn will be held at 10 a.m. July 15 at 35 Public Square, Nelsonville. SORT board meetings are on the third Monday of every month at 10 a.m. The public is welcome.
