Taylor Swift was left "speechless" on Saturday night after super fans at Dublin's Aviva Stadium let out a mighty cheer that exceeded a whopping three minutes.

The Fortnight chanter delighted fans in the Irish capital for the second night in a row with a three-hour-long set of tunes from different eras of her musical catalogue . What seemed just as long was the roar let out by the crowd.

Pausing for what was meant to be a moment after a rendition of Champagne Problems from her ninth studio album Evermore, Swift was stunned into silence when supporters starting shrieking in delight - and didn't stop.

"I don't know what to say," the 34-year-old managed after the bellows let up. "My band and I are looking at each other with our mouths opened."

Social media was quick to share their calculations on how long the screaming lasted. One fan wrote: "How long was the cheer tonight?!" to which someone at the gig replied: "She's speechless and I won't be able to speak tomorrow from screaming!"

A third chimed in: "Question is…. How long would it go if she didn’t step in??? Curious to know." A third gave their view: "Around 3 minutes and 50 seconds!!!!" while a fifth said: "The fact the cheers in Dublin both nights in the Aviva are so loud!! This is why there’s no crowd like an Irish crowd , truly! You deserve ALL the praise, cheers, screams."

A sixth wrote: "Three whole minutes (plus seven seconds haha) of cheering for Taylor . My heart is so full." A seventh concluded: "I only able to time 3:45 mins, but it was certainly longer than that." To view the video, click here .

The powerful songstress also sent fans into a frenzy on Saturday when her chief dancer, Kameron Saunders hit out with an hilarious Irish slang phrase during We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

Instead of the lyrics "like, ever," the top choreographer, who has become Taylor's sidekick during that particular live track , shouted "the neck of ye!" meaning boldness. Swift brings her sell-out Irish shows to an end on Sunday.
