    The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning effective until 8:30 PM EDT for the following areas in Pennsylvania: southeastern Berks County, northwestern Montgomery County, and northeastern Chester County. At 7:46 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was detected near Wyomissing, moving east at 35 mph with potential 60 mph wind gusts. The storm may cause damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines. Affected locations include Reading, Norristown, Pottstown, and several other communities. Motorists should be cautious on the Northeast Extension between mile markers 27 and 38, as well as Interstate 176 between mile markers 3 and 11.
