In the latest video tape, this time given to Pat McAfee on his talk show Monday, an emotional Rowan talked about the deaths of his “family”, referring to Wyatt family members Luke Harper/Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt, both of whom have passed away in recent years. Cody Rhodes says the end of his run in AEW was “terrible.”. Rhodes was asked about his time in the company during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. While he was very hesitant to say anything negative about AEW, he admitted that his time there did not end well and there were “petty squabbles” that went on behind the scenes.

Cody Rhodes believes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has plenty left in the tank as an in-ring competitor. While being interviewed by Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Rhodes said it was an “honor” to share the ring with The Rock at WrestleMania 40 night one. During that experience, Rhodes felt like The Rock showed he still has so much left to offer as a wrestler. He reiterated that his challenge for a one-on-one match against The Rock still stands.

AEW Dynamite will be one of the first events to take place from a new venue that’s opening up in the state of Indiana. Ahead of its November opening, Fishers Event Center revealed its first slate of events today. Dynamite will take place live from the venue on Wednesday, December 4. Rampage will also be taped at Fishers Event Center that night.

Rhea Ripley has thrown out her challenge for SummerSlam. As Dominik Mysterio attempted to reconcile with Ripley at the start of Monday’s Raw, Liv Morgan interrupted her and said at first she didn’t see what Ripley saw in Dominik, but then got to spend time with him and it all became real to her. Ripley said she waited three months for this and set up the challenge for SummerSlam on August 3. Morgan said she always knew the end game would be this, so she won’t run, but she isn’t the same Liv Morgan and accepted Ripley’s challenge, saying she hoped Dominik would be there too.

Both the location and the date for the eleventh installment in the AEW Battle of the Belts series has been revealed. The TNT schedule lists the one-hour show for 10 PM Eastern on Saturday, July 27th following that night’s live edition of Collision. The night will emanate from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where AEW will take up a residency for roughly five weeks. Based on recent shows, it’s expected Battle of the Belts will also be live again.

Grant’s attorneys submitted a pre-action discovery petition against Peak Wellness Inc. and the company’s owner and CEO, Dr. Carlon Colker. The petition is seeking medical records related to Grant’s treatment at the clinic as it concerns her sex trafficking lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinitis.

Meiko Satomura is advertised for WWE’s house show tour of Japan later this month. WWE will run an event at Osaka’s Edion Arena on Thursday, July 25, and then two nights at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo on July 26 and 27. Satomura is featured in advertising for all three shows along with Cody Rhodes, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai.
