STRONGS PRAIRIE − A body found at a home in the Adams County town of Strongs Prairie Thursday has been identified as Sharon K. Miller, also known to friends as Sharon Miller-Robinson, according to a Sunday afternoon news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office also reported Sunday morning that a second body, identified as Miller's son, Jami L. Lumby, was discovered at the residence.

The manner of their deaths are pending autopsy, but both are being investigated as suspicious deaths, the release said.

According to a Friday news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, at 8:19 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported not being able to contact Miller, 62, for three days. The caller went to Miller's home in Strongs Prairie and could not find Miller or her son, 37. Deputies checked Miller's property and did not find her or Lumby, according to the release. Deputies did find an area where the ground had been disturbed that looked like someone had buried something. Deputies got a search warrant and found an adult body, which has now been identified as Miller, on the property.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says its "remains committed to this investigation, and (they)have dedicated every available resource to this investigation."

Staff from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation continue to collect and analyze evidence and are conducting interviews. DOJ crime response specialists are assisting family members in this investigation.

The agencies are asking for the public's help if anyone has had any recent contact with Miller or Lumby to contact the Adams County Sheriff's Office at 608-339-3304.
