Ben Simmons' fall from All-Star point guard to where he is now is astounding.

The 2018 Rookie of the Year and three-time NBA All-Star has appeared in just 57 games since the 2020-21 season. In his time on the court through those games, the former No. 1 overall pick averaged 6.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

Simmons boasted an 87 rating from 2K19-21. Now for 2K25, his rating has dropped all the way down to a 66.

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal reacted to this ratings plummet with a "ruthless" three-word message on social media.

    "Should b lower," Shaq wrote.

This isn't the first time Shaq has publicly criticized Simmons. Earlier this year on The Big Podcast , the Basketball Hall of Famer took another shot at the Brooklyn Nets point guard for his inability to stay on the court.

“Ben Simmons, because I’d want to learn how you can make $80 million and play 55 games,” O’Neal said when asked which NBA player he'd pay to watch live. “Teach me.”
