Stadium Rant is again collaborating to share predictions ahead of the 2024 NFL regular season. After our last article, in which our writers shared their boldest takes, this article dives into our breakout player predictions. JT Howland's Breakout Player: Packers WR Jayden Reed

The second-round pick out of Michigan State proved to be one of the best rookie wide receivers in the NFL after leading the Packers with 793 receiving yards, which was sixth out of all first-year wide receivers. Reed is widely regarded as a first-round pick in most 2023 NFL redrafts and has a chance to break the thousand-yard marker in 2024.

HM: Packers linebacker Quay Walker

Nicholas Mullick's Breakout Players: Jets RB Braelon Allen and Giants WR Jalin Hyatt

One name who has impressed the coaching staff during camp is rookie Braelon Allen, who will get a ton of snaps in the backfield. While Breece Hall continues to dominate, Allen will have a breakout rookie season where he will be a weapon on this team in both the running and passing game.

Jalin Hyatt is expected to take a big leap in 2024 with the return of quarterback Daniel Jones under center after an injury-plagued 2023 season.

HM: Steelers WR Roman Wilson

Drew Palmer's Breakout Player: Steelers WR Calvin Austin

Calvin Austin was spotted multiple times working out with quarterback Russell Wilson, who we know likes the moonball. Sure, the offense will be highly tailored to George Pickens, but he needs somebody to step up and be his Robin. Look for Austin to take that role.

HM: Steelers TE Darnell Washington

Darnell Washington is expected to leap forward after being the "steal of the draft" in 2023. Despite a quiet rookie season, Washington could jump to new heights with Russell Wilson throwing him the ball.
