Vinicius Jr. has been vocal about his criticisms of Copa America following Brazil's qualification to the second round, having secured second place in Group D. The Brazilian star didn't hold back his discontent after defeating Paraguay, highlighting aspects of the tournament that he believes need improvement.

Vinicius Jr. demonstrated his exceptional skill, scoring twice in Brazil's dominant 4-1 win over Paraguay in their last tournament outing. His first goal was a testament to his IQ, coming from a darting run from the wing. He weaved between two defenders to receive a pass across the box to slot a perfect shot into the back of the net, a moment that left the audience in awe of his talent.

In a notable moment during the first half's extra time, Vinicius showcased his flair on the wing, flamboyantly past defenders with flick tricks until he was pushed to the ground by Damian Bobadilla. Furious that no card was shown for Bobadilla, a shoving match erupted on the touchline between the two teams.

Amid the chaos, Brazillian Wendell received a yellow card, baffling fans and his teammates watching the game. But Vinicius Jr. wasted no time making his presence felt again, scoring his second goal less than three minutes after the altercation, sealing Brazil's victory.

His passion was on display in celebration after the goal, which gave Brazil a comfortable cushion as the clock reached full time. And his devotion continued to be felt after the game, speaking to the media, where the Brazilian star delivered a fiery rant about the incidents and his overall Copa America experience, criticizing various aspects of the tournament and expressing his frustration with the officiating and the overall organization.

"The Copa America is always difficult because of the pitches, he said. "Because of the referees who always go against us and because of the way CONMEBOL treats people. It's always difficult, but we have to stay strong," he continued. "We can only talk by winning. When we talk, CONMEBOL say we talk too much."

Vinicius Jr. isn't alone in his complaints about the pitch conditions . The grumblings started way before the tournament grounds when Lionel Messi began to complain about some of the pitches around MLS stadium s after joining Inter Miami.

During the Copa America opener between Argentina and Canada at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the surface was sharply criticized for its subpar quality. Argentina's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez branded it a "disaster" and "bumpy," saying that the tournament will be perceived as a second-rate event if Copa America doesn’t step up its fields.
