Many eyes were on this matchup, considering that Taurasi has had some harsh words for what Clark is to expect in the WNBA in the past.

But Taurasi offered nothing but praise for the Fever rookie after the game ended.

What asked about Clark's career in the postgame press conference, Taurasi said, "What Caitlin has been able to do in her short career so far has been nothing short of remarkable."

Fans were loving that Taurasi was willing to praise Clark in this way.

"Proud of DTs positive and complementary comments about Caitlin," one fan wrote in the YouTube comments.

"I have to feel some respect for Diana for speaking nice about Caitlin. Diana has certainly earned her position of respect and it was in my heart that Diana would finish well," said another.
