The United States will be playing to keep their tournament hopes alive when they go head-to-head against unbeaten Uruguay at the Arrowhead Stadium on Monday.

No team from Group C has qualified or been eliminated from the competition so far, therefore these teams still have everything to play for in the round's final match.

Group C has become a shootout for the USMNT, after losing 2-1 to Panama in their second game. They still sit second in the group due to a slightly superior goal difference, but after Uruguay thrashed minnows Bolivia, as expected, it sets up an interesting final-match scenario.

The hosts will qualify for the knockout stages as long as they match Panama's result, and scoreline, in their final group game against huge underdogs Bolivia. If Panama win, the United States can still qualify for the quarterfinals but they must beat Uruguay and will need to have a better goal difference than Panama. As it stands, the U.S. have a two-goal advantage.

On the other hand, Uruguay continued their blistering start to the tournament with the 5-0 thrashing of Bolivia on matchday two of this tournament.

Marcelo Bielsa's men not only lead the Group C standings with six points, but they have a goal differential of +7, which puts them in the pole position to qualify for the last eight.

As the USMNT play the final game of their Copa America group-stage campaign, you can follow all the action with The Sporting News we've got kickoff times for whichever region of the US you're in, as well as how to watch details.

USA vs. Uruguay predicted lineups, starting 11, team news

Tim Weah has been suspended for two matches by CONMEBOL for his red card vs. Panama, meaning he will miss this game plus any potential quarterfinal the U.S. could qualify for. Options for his replacement include Gio Reyna moving out wide, or the introduction of Haji Wright or Josh Sargent to the lineup. If Wright, a natural left winger, comes in, Christian Pulisic would likely move to the right where he plays at AC Milan.

The biggest lineup question for the United States is the status of goalkeeper Matt Turner , who was wiped out by Cesar Blackman in the last match, replaced by Ethan Horvath at halftime due to a leg injury. Turner's MRI was clean but he was limited in USMNT training on Saturday , leaving his status up in the air.

MORE: All the different scenarios for the USMNT to qualify for the Copa America knockout stage

Gregg Berhalter could decide that he needs Yunus Musah in midfield, with the 20-year-old yet to start a Copa America game, but his introduction would mean either Reyna moves out wide or one of Tyler Adams or Weston McKennie must be dropped.

Chris Richards has been plagued by giveaways at this tournament — if he's replaced at center-back, Miles Robinson would be the likely one to come in after Cameron Carter-Vickers was largely at-fault for the Panama winner.

USA predicted XI (4-3-3): Horvath (GK) — Scally, Richards, Ream, A. Robinson — Reyna, Musah, McKennie — Pulisic, Balogun, Wright.

    Injured: Matt Turner (leg, doubt)
    Suspended: Tim Weah
On yellow card: Chris Richards, Antonee Robinson, Weston McKennie.

Uruguay are not mathematically through to the quarterfinals just yet, but they are essentially into the knockout stage, as elimination would only happen should they lose this game and see their massive goal differential advantage somehow wiped off the board.

Thus, it's possible that Marcelo Bielsa rotates his side heavily, especially considering the high-intensity style he plays. It would be valuable for key players like Federico Valverde, Manuel Ugarte , and Ronaldo Araujo to get rest ahead of a knockout stage run. Rodrigo Betancur could be a candidate to enter in midfield, while Jose Gimenez could see time at the back.

Star striker Darwin Nunez has scored twice in this tournament, but still received criticism for numerous other missed chances, and it's possible that Luis Suarez could enter the lineup, having already played at this stadium recently as Inter Miami defeated Sporting KC in a special event at Arrowhead.

Not a single Uruguay player has picked up a yellow card through two Copa America matches.

Uruguay predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Rochet (GK) — Nandez, Gimenez, Olivera, Vina — Valverde, Betancur — Pellistri, Arrascaeta, M. Araujo — Suarez.

    Injured: None.
    Suspended: None.
    On yellow card: None.
