Max has released the official trailer for “Harley Quinn” adult animated spinoff “Kite Man: Hell Yeah!” The series will debut on Max with two episodes on July 18, followed with a new episode weekly through Sept. 12.
Poison Ivy’s ex-fiancé Kite Man (Matt Oberge) and Golden Glider (Stephanie Hsu) take over Noonan’s bar in the shadow of Lex Luthor’s Legion of Doom, taking their relationship to the next level in the series. The pair cater to the henchmen and goons of Arkham, as they fund their business with criminal activities.
James Adomian returns as Bane, Janelle James as Queen of Fables, the late Lance Reddick as Lex Luthor, Rory Scovel as Gus the Goon. Natasia Demetriou joins the franchise as Malice, Jonathan Banks as Noonan, Keith David as Darkseid, Michael Imperioli as Joe/Moe Dubelz and Judith Light as Helen Villigan.
Executive producers for the series are Dean Lorey, Justin Halpern, Patrick Shumacker, Kaley Cuoco and Sam Register.
“Welcome to the J-Rod Show,” a Fox Sports Films original documentary following Major League Baseball breakout Julio Rodríguez, is set to premiere July 16 on FS1, following the network’s live postgame coverage of the MLB All-Star Game on Fox.
The film spotlights American League Rookie of the Year and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner Rodríguez’s quest to the major leagues and his debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2022. It features interviews with Seattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford, national baseball hall of famer Ken Griffey Jr., and World Series champion and Fox MLB studio analyst Alex Rodriguez.
“Welcome to the J-Rod Show” is executive produced by Gotham Chopra, Ameeth Sankaran, Victor Buhler, Eric Shanks, Mark Silverman, Charlie Dixon, Barry Nugent and Derek Jeter. The film is co-produced by Fox Sports Films, Religion of Sports and MLB. Carl Hansen, Ariana Rotstein, Michael Vayder, Rita O’Dea and Omri Kruvi serve as producers. Bryant Robinson directed the film.
