As July begins, so too are the sneaker giants plans’ for the Olympics. The month is loaded with basketball, running and lifestyle sneakers made for the occasion — but the regular hype cycle will also continue as usual.
July’s top sneaker releases include the first-time return for the Nike KD 4 “Nerf,” a Kith x New Balance duo for the former’s Malibu store opening, the debut of the Adidas AE 1 Low and new iterations of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 made for the WNBA All-Star Game and Paris Olympics, respectively. Nike’s industry-leading super shoe, the AlphaFly 3, will also see its number of releases double with three drops scheduled for the month, while Nigel Sylvester will help launch the new Air Jordan 4 RM.

Release Date: July 1 Price: $150 The KD 4 “Nerf” gets its first ever rerelease, bringing much wider availability after just 300 pairs released in 2011.
Release Date: July 1 Price: $50 Adidas’ Kobe-inspired line continues with a new mule/slide modeled after the Crazy 1, formerly known as the Kobe 1.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Blueprint”
Release Date: July 3 Price: $285 The first of three AlphaFly 3 releases for the month comes as part of a wider series of “Blueprint” sneakers made for the Olympics in basketball and running.
Release Date: July 4 Price: TBD To commemorate the opening of its Malibu store, Kith is releasing a duo of New Balance sneakers with beachy color schemes.
Release Date: July 5 Price: $120 Donovan Mitchell’s sixth signature sneaker is his first low-top and arrives amid a wider resurgence for Adidas Basketball.
Asics GT-2160 “Paris”
Release Date: July 5 Price: $120 Asics’ celebration of the Summer Olympics includes a clean, fashionable “Paris” treatment for its early aughts running shoe.
Puma MB.03 “Miami”
Release Date: July 5 Price: $125 LaMelo Ball’s on-court shoe gets the sneakerhead favorite “South Beach” treatment with a mix of teal of pink. His fourth model should be introduced in the coming monhts.
Release Date: July 11 Price: $180 Nike is bringing back the cult-favorite Air Max Sunder cross-trainer, previously called the Air Sunder Max, for the first time since its original run.
Release Date: July 12 Price: $130 The second colorway for Sabrina Ionescu’s second signature shoe invokes her role as floor general for the New York Liberty.
Air Jordan 3 “WNBA All-Star”
Release Date: July 13 Price: $200 Leather is swapped for canvas as camouflage takes over the Air Jordan 3’s upper. The WNBA’s logo can be found on the insole, as well as matching orange sections on the outsole.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Hyper Pink”
Release Date: July 18 Price: $285 Just a spritz of pink comes to Nike’s leading super shoe for the AlphaFly’s second release of the month and fourth overall.
Release Date: July 19 Price: $110 LaMelo Ball’s Y2K skate shoe-inspired lifestyle sneaker gets its second and third colorways following the introduction of the LaFrance in the spring.
Release Date: July 20 Price: $150 Nigel Sylvester has been tapped to debut the Air Jordan 4 RM, short for “Restomod.” The sneaker collaboration with his “Bike Air” logo is rooted in his grandmother’s driveway, where Sylvester first honed his skills as a BMX rider.
Release Date: July 20 Price: $120 The AE 1 in its regular mid-cut form takes on a darker marbled pattern on the same day its low-top counterpart debuts.
Release Date: July 24 Price: $120 Nike’s first-ever breakdancing shoe gets a launch in two colorways just before the sport the sport’s debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Nike AlphaFly 3 “Safari Olympic”
Release Date: July 24 Price: $300 Another Olympic pack sees an animal print take over the AlphaFly’s tech-loaded sole unit for the super shoe’s wildest colorway thus far.
Release Date: July 27 Price: $225 Jordan Brand’s Olympic slate includes a close lookalike to Kaws’ own Air Jordan 4 from 2017 that now sells for thousands of dollars on the resale market.
